Zagreb, 28th November, 2013 - The conference and workshops entitled "Ingra's opportunities for development of Kurdistan" held this week in Erbil, the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan region, resulted with great interest and great attendance of high representatives of Kurdish ministries and the Kurdish Regional Government.
The delegation led by Ingra's experts brought together successful Croatian companies Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Intea, Croatia Pumpe Nova, Studio BF and Iskra Impuls from Slovenia collectively named Ingra Group in order to strengthen Croatian export in perspective Iraqi region of Kurdistan.
Sixty participants from the Office of Kurdish Prime Minister, Council of Ministers, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Physical Planning, Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Water Resources and the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as high representatives of many Kurdish agencies and power plants, through discussion and numerous questions showed fondness and interest in projects of Croatian companies from the energy sector, hydro mechanical equipment, tourism, commercial and residential buildings, hospitals, civil engineering, oil, petrochemical and food industries, irrigation systems and ICT industries.
The INGRA brand is strongly and continuously present in Iraq for 50 years, creating some of the largest power plants and civil objects of this Middle Eastern country. INGRA is currently finishing works on hydro power plant Dokan in the Iraqi region of Kurdistan, and after these presentations and individual interviews with key people from the Kurdish Ministries the company is expecting more good news from this region.
